About Dr. Watkins For as long as I can remember, I have been fascinated by the human experience. This fascination has led me to spend the past decade acquiring the knowledge, skills, and abilities to be an effective therapist. My formal journey in the field of psychology began at the University of Illinois, where I obtained my Bachelor’s degree. It continued at Adler University, where I obtained my doctorate in clinical psychology. I strive to be a socially responsible clinician who is humbled by the striving and resilience of people from all walks of life
I have experience working in community centers, child guidance centers, schools and universities, psychiatric hospitals, private practices, and forensic settings. My diverse experience has prepared me to effectively help individuals and families from all ages and from diverse cultural backgrounds.

I utilize a variety of cognitive-behavioral therapy techniques, psychodynamic interventions, and mindfulness.
