About Our Evaluations
Our psychological and neuropsychological assessments can help identify struggles with attention, learning, mood, and behavior. The purpose of an evaluation is that through gaining a thorough understanding of you or your child, we can come up with recommendations to help you out. Our view is that recommendations are the heart of our evaluations. These are tailored to the needs of you or your child. Regarding our psychological and neuropsychological assessments, our evaluations cover areas such as:
Unlike most practices, in almost all cases, one of our licensed psychologists does the entire evaluation. So, you would be meeting the psychologist at the initial session. He or she would do the one-on-one testing, write the comprehensive report, and provide feedback. Importantly, our evaluations can be used to gain access to important accommodations and modifications, including extended time on standardized tests.
About Our Therapy
Life can be a struggle at times, even under the best circumstances. When we hit these rough patches, therapy, consultation, or coaching can be an effective way to make it through them. Our psychologists and therapists are well-trained in evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, feedback informed treatment (FIT), positive psychology, and solution-oriented approaches. Oftentimes only a few sessions are needed to get the results that you are seeking.
